COLLABOR8
A bunch of ‘good buggers’ crossed paths in early 2017 whilst helping design, manage, construct and lease a range of light industrial warehouses in Hobsonville and Silverdale, Auckland.
Many of us had worked together before and we all brought different expertise to the table.
It didn’t take long for us to realise the potential benefits of working together on an ongoing basis – we have more than a century of collective experience in property development and construction; a great network of talented, well-connected people; and access to all the skills required to deliver medium to large-scale projects across a wide spectrum.
Our decision to come together and form Collabor8 meant we could achieve much more than our individual companies would on their own.
We currently have a number of developments underway across Auckland in the commercial and industrial sector. We are always on the look-out for good opportunities and enjoy harnessing our collective power to deliver top quality projects.

Our extensive in-house capabilities mean we’re able to do most things ourselves. And when required, we partner with the best external consultants to complete projects to the highest possible standard.

DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT
This shapes the outcome of an entire property project. We develop a ‘master-plan’ framework to successfully deliver projects which includes feasibility and greenfield studies, concept development, full due diligence, consultation with local authorities, engineers, architects, finance and dealing with RMA issues.
GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
We partner with Gibson O’Connor Construction who are experienced leaders in the construction industry. Their management team has almost 100 years of combined experience and they’re renowned for their quality, stability, integrity, and absolute reliability. They specialise in all sectors of construction including commercial, education, healthcare, civic community, sports & recreation.
CIVIL CONSTRUCTION
This is one of our fortes. Our directors are involved with some of New Zealand’s biggest providers for earth stabilisation, ground reinforcement, soil examination, and contamination works. This pool of expertise enables us to keep ahead of the game and ensures we continue to deliver high-quality projects.
MARKETING SALES, LEASING AND
RELATIONSHIPS
We take care of all vendor, purchaser and tenant negotiations and work closely with all parties to design workspaces that fits their internal culture, working practices, branding and corporate profile. We understand and take care of the whole process from conception to completion and have a proven track record of turning ideas into successful projects.
